Missions
One of the
purposes, we passionately believe in is missions. We take missions very
serious and we are committed to reach out to the needs of people, send
and support missionaries’ works. Through this we demonstrate the
love God and fulfil His commandment in many ways, which include the
following projects:
PRECIOUS FOUNDATION
is an outreach that minister to the widows and the needy in Nigeria.
This mission project is founded by our senior pastor, Dr. Precious
Benson who is passionate about reaching out to this group of people
with the love of God. If you feel a call towards putting smiles on the
widows and needy, feel free to join and make a life changing impact.
WE ADOPT
MISSIONARIES ABROAD by giving financially and materially to
support their work.
WE SEND MISSIONARIES
OUT to other countries to share the love of God as an outreach
arm of GFD.

Small Groups
No matter how big we are, we still believe in small groups, where
people with common skills, shape and call come together to fulfil a
purpose/ministry. It is easier to relate, know each other in small
groups, thereby enchasing bonding and the demonstration of the love of
God. In GFD, we have different small groups and more are coming up from
time to time. Some of our small groups are listed below:
DANIEL CLUB - PURITY
- This group meets together to discuss challenges, pray, get biblical
insight and relate with one another about keeping sexual purity in an
impure world.
NURSING MUM CLUB
- This group share experience, help one another and encourage one
another during nursing period.
JOYFUL PARENTS CLUB
- This group consists of expectant mothers, who encourage one another
and tune in to connect with the God of fruitfulness.
HOMEWORK CLUB
- This club operates in homes to help children do their school
assignments, imparting to them the spirit of excellence.
THE EMPOWERED WOMEN
- This group is meant for single parents who meet together to share
experiences, discuss, taught skills and receive impactful message of
how to handle life issues
- THE HANDYMAN CLUB
This group is helps members fix minor jobs in their houses free of
charge, but terms and condition applies.
HOMELESS FRIENDS
- This group helps feed the homeless. Giving out a bottle of water and
sandwich could put a smile on someone face. If you have the passion to
feed the poor, this group could be a good match for you. Remember, in
GFD we demonstrate God’s love to humanity.
BEAUTIFYERS
- This group consists of people who have the skills to add beauty and
colours to the church and events. This consists of artists, event
managers, decorators, etc.
SINGLES CLUB
- This group meets together in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss relevant
issues pertaining to single people, from a biblical perspective. |
